FUCC 1st XI on Saturday defeated Ealing Trailfinders who had ex-England International player Sajid Mahmood in their ranks. Batting first Friends United can only muster 140 all out led by Captain on the day Nirmal (65 runs) with Sajid Mahmood claiming 4 wickets in his 12 over spell.
Ealing Trailfinders in reply lost wicket in 2nd over but then on stitched together partnership of 76 for 2nd wickets to keep their on course for a win. But excellent spin bowling of Dixit, Ramesh and Chitan and then explosive line and length bowling by Kevin Bari meant ETCC lost wickets in jiffy and were bowled out for 123.
Dixit Ramgi claimed 5-40 in his spell.
