Friends United CC lost their first ever MPCL Cup Semi Final in a close game against experienced Rajput Samaj.
Batting first Friends United managed to score 204/6 in 45 overs with top score by Ramya Upadhyay(66 not out) & Jibran Azam (54 runs), the score at half time was 20-25 runs short against experience Rajput Samaj team for whom Pratik and Jalpesh bowled superbly with new ball.
In return Rajput lost some ealry wickets but Pujan Vyas (100 not out) was helped by Pratik and carried his team to a spectular win in 45th over with help of 2 quick sixes, first one of them was a drop by Friends United fielder which went for six. In between Pujan and Pratik had good partnership with some quick singles and doubles.
Rajput now goes into final to play West Harrow.
