Match report Friends United were triumphant in the this first MPCL T20 Cup at Harrow Cricket Club Ground.

It was a excellent day for cricket as Anson captain Ajay won the toss and elected to bat first. Their openers begin well as they raced to 27 in 4 overs but a change of ball due to new ball being lost brought change in fortune as Friends United took 2 wickets in 2 balls to check Anson's progress. Kirit Mohane and Ramesh balled brilliantly from both ends. There on Anson struggled to get runs and only a late assault by last man Naz who scored 20 of 14 balls allowed them to get to 105/9 in 20 overs.

In reply Friends United begin well as Nirmal and captain Piyush started well to score 16 of first 2 overs but Nirmal soon as lost his wicket in third over and in form Ramesh lost his wicket next as Friends United were reduced to 18/2 and it soon become 30/3 as Piyush lost his wicket too. But good partnership between Jalpesh (scored 44 from 34 balls) and Dilesh (24 runs from 15 balls) meant Friends United scored 4 wicket win and begin their campaign well.
