Match report Friends United recorded a comfortable win over Neasden II as they stayed in contention of promotion to Division 2.

Friends United skipper Yogesh won the toss and had no hesitation to choose to bat first on batting wicket. Friends United begin well but they lost their openers with only 20 on board. And when Ramesh Magan was out LBW to Krunal Shah the score was 39 after 8 overs. But Vivek Rameshchandra kept rotation strike and at other end Jalpesh Vijay launched a superb attack to smash 7 4s and 2 sixes to score 54 in 27 balls but lost his wicket trying to hit another 6, making 71 runs partnership between him and Vivek. Friends United lost another 3 quick wickets as they reached 160/8 but then a superb 54 runs by Kiran Dhirajlal and 36 runs from Kirit Mohane meant they managed to reach 241 all out in 38 overs, which is highest score for them this season.

In reply Friends United begin very well as Kirit Mohane took 3 quick wickets and Nikhil and Ramesh chipped with wicket each as they Neasden were reduced to 36/4. Pinal Patel scored 17 runs to halt the slide but captain Yogesh Nagpal took 2 wickets in an over to reduce Neasden to 57/7 but some good runs from Viral Kothari and Bhupendra Patel meant they managed to reach 100. Neasden were bowled out for 108 in 29 overs. Friends United won by 133 runs.
