Friends United Cricket Club Won by 63 runs

Match report Friends United defeated Lohana by 63 runs and kept their promotion hope alive. Batting first Friends United lost their first wicket on 10 as in form Ramesh Magan lost his wicket in first over but some excellent shots by Nirmal Ramgi meant run rate was at 6 an over but when Nirmal Ramgi (21 runs) and Jigar Vassantlal lost their wicket in quick succession it brought on Jalpesh Vijay on the crease and after initial stuttering he unleashed some explosive shots to power to his first century of the season. He got out soon after scoring his 100. Friends United eventually finished on 200 in 34 overs.

In reply led by in form Mehul Gokani (70 runs) started really well as they powered along with 8 an over as both openers took advantage of some loose bowling. Then out of nowhere a superb run out by Ramesh Magan changed the course of the game as in next few overs Jalpesh took 3 wickets in quick succession to put break on Lohana's scoring. But Mehul kept going from one end but an excellent ball by captain Yogesh Nagpal took care of him and from there on Yogesh and Sejil finished off the inning as they were bowled out 137.

Friends United won by 63 runs.
