Match report Friends United kept their promotion charge alive thanks to excellent batting by Nirmal Ramgi and Jalpesh Vijay.

Friends United captain Piyush Vanraj won the toss under overcast condition and with rain predicted later on he decided to bowl first. Neasden II's batsmen started well as they scored 31 in 9 overs without loosing any wicket. After 10 overs Piyush decided to change the bowling around and it did wonders as Jalpesh Vijay took out 2 wickets in 4 overs to pushed Neasden back. But some good hitting in middle overs as well as extra meant Neasden looked to cross 200 but Ramesh Magan took 3 wickets in 2 overs to stem the flow as Neasden got bowled out for 170 in 38.3 overs.

After the break Friends United's inning begin well with 20 runs coming in first 2 overs but Jigar Vassantlal lost his wicket in 2nd over but excellent 50 run partnership between Nirmal Ramgi and Ramesh Magan meant their asking rate was always kept below 5. Ramesh lost his wicket to a low staying delivery but Jalpesh Vijay and Nirmal Ramgi scored quick runs there on to guide Friends United on to the brink of a victory. Nirmal (45 runs) lost his wicket when only 19 runs required but Jalpesh went on to score 71 not out to see them home.

Friends United won by 7 wickets to stay second in the table.
