Friends United Cricket Club

Friends United has made good start before new season kicks off by winning two friendly matches in 2 days.  

On Saturday, 27th May, Friends United CC played match against Rajput Samaj.  Batting first they scored 148 all out in 28 overs.  But with their excellent bowling and fielding they managed to defend the score and bowled them out for 97 in 32 overs.  Hilpesh took 5 wickets and Ramji and Nikhil bowled excellent spell.

On Sunday, 28th May on a cold day, Friends United were host to new team in the league DD Warriors.  Friends United won the toss and elected to bat first.  They managed to post 224/9 in 40 overs with all the batsmen contributing with Jalpesh Vijay hitting an explosive 47 in 29 delivers towards the end.  DD Warriros batsmen played well and at one stage looked to achieve their target but 3 wickets in 3 overs from Sejil and 2 wickets for leg spinner Nirmal helped Friends United to bowl out DD Warriors for 187 in 36 overs and win the game by 37 runs.
