Match report Friends United 3rd XI came into this game with high confidence having won the previous two games, however, they were to meet a strong Bharat Olympians CC - 2nd XI.

Bharat Olympians made a steady start with both openers getting into double-digit score however it was Margesh Ramesh who made the first breakthrough for Friends United with excellent delivery. The next batsmen for Bharat Olympians Sahan played positive shots along with the opener Kalukapuge to put pressure on the Friends United bowling line but it was Nimesh who took 3 quick wickets in succession to turn the match in favor of Friends united. Soon the rest of the bowlers joined in to take regular wickets during the middle overs and some late resistance from Bharat Olympian number 8 number 9 pushed the score to 164 all out in 37.4 overs. The pick of the bowls was Nimesh with excellent figures of 4-32 with the rest of the bowlers picking 1 wicket each.

Friends United started the chase in a positive manner with both the opener getting boundary each under their name, however the inning soon nose-dived with regular wickets. Nirmal who made a solid 29(40 balls) was unable to find a partner at the other end and soon he lost with his wickets, it was all but game over. A last-wicket stand between Bankish and Krutik helped Friend United get to 81 in 31.3 over. Wickets were shared at 2 apiece between all Bharat Olympians bowlers.
