Match report Friends United recorded a superb victory over multi times champions Bharat Olympians. The groundsman at Harrow Town CC done an excellent job covering the pitch on Saturday and then getting the pitch ready for the match on time on Sunday.

The game started at 1 pm and soon excellent bowling by Nishal Mohane and Nilesh Lacmane put Bharat Olympians opening batsmen under pressure. But dropped catches cost early on. Change of bowling to spin bought reward straight away as Bharat Damania took the wicket in his first over. New bowler Sandeep Singh bowled a superb spell of 8 overs in a row to take 4/48 in 8 overs to resSrinivasen Santhanamtric Bharat Olympians to 215/7 in 45 overs instead, despite their STAR BATSMAN Dhaval scoring brilliant 120 from 90 balls.

In reply, Inder lost his wicket early but Laxmikant and Nirmal both played superbly to take the score past 120. Then on it was a matter of time as both Laxmikant and Bharat took to chase down to less than 20 as both of them crossed 50 runs. Laxmikant soon lost his wicket playing a silly shot but all the batsman will be in form soon.
