Match report Friends United suffered their 4th loss in all competition as Anson opened their T20 campaign in style.

Batting first on green and under-prepare track Friends United, who had 6 regular players out of the side due to injuries, got off to a good start as Nirmal scored boundary in 3rd ball he faced from fast bowler Sachin but next ball ball stayed low and skidded on grass to hit the off stump. Ramesh and Piyush took the score to 15 in 3 overs but Piyush lost his middle stump Sachin to another low, skidding ball. Jigar came in and hit 2 crisp boundary as they tried to up the tempo but Ramesh soon lost his wicket as Kamlesh Desai took good catch at mid-off. Rahul played well for 18 and Jigar was out on 21 as some lusty blows by Nikhil towards the end, one of them went on railway track took the score to 110 all out.

In reply Friends United bowlers started well without any luck as Ramesh bowled an excellent spell of 3 overs for 6 runs with 2 maidens but then on combination of luck for Anson batsman (edge flying away from fielders and close LBW shouts) and some great shots late on meant Anson were able to record an emphatic 10 wickets victory over Friends United.
