Match report Friends United recorded their first win of the season by beating a good Kondor side at North Acton Playing Fields.

Kondor won the toss and decided to bowl on grassy pitch. Friends United loss their new opener in 2nd over but Nirmal Ramgi and Ramesh Magan had a good partnership, Nirmal loss his wicket to excellent catch by Kush. Ramesh Magan was joined on the pitch by Jalpesh Vijay and together they a good partnership, Ramesh and Jalpesh scored some quick runs and by 9th over score was 61 but then Ramesh lost his wicket trying put ball out of the park, he scored 31 runs. Sejil joined Jalpesh in the middle and they stitched together a quick fire 80 run partnership. Jalpesh departed for 44 runs in 29 ball, as Kondor bowler started taking some quick wickets but lower order hitting from Nikhil Vaja who scored 53 runs from 41 balls meant Friends United managed to put on 239 runs on board.

In reply Kondor started well by scored 12 without loss in 6 overs but Friends United battery of pace bowlers soon started taking grip on Kondor's inning. Nikhil took out Chirg's wicket with inside edge onto the stump and then Ramji kept pressure by bowling excellent spell. Then first change Dinesh Carsane bowled brilliantly took take 3/16 in 8 overs to suck the life out of Kondor's middle order. Kondor's Maulik batted well and scored 30 runs to keep the game alive but Vivek Rameshchandra and Jalpesh Vijay along with captain Yogesh Nagpal (all took 2 wickets a piece) soon curtailed Kondor innings and bowled them out for 103 in 30 overs and win the game by 136 runs.
