Match report Friends United won important toss in this clash between two promotion chasing team and decided to bat first.

They lost their first wicket in first over to a ill-judged run out. Ramesh and Nirmal consolidated inning and kept scoring at good rate. At fall of Nirmal wicket Hilpesh gave good support to Ramesh who just started to open up and hit two massive 6s down the ground. Introduction of spinner Neil Patel by Youth Wing changed the complexion of game as he took 4 quick (including Ramesh who scored 58 runs) wickets to reduce Friends United to 125/8 but some brilliant lower order hitting by Ramji Bagoane (28 runs in 10 balls) and Nikhil took score to 188 all out in 37 overs.

After the break Youth Wing started well by scoring 9 runs in first over but from next over Ramji was all over the Youth Wing batsmen as he took after wicket after wicket. In between Jigar Patel (jnr), Youth Wing's best player was run out for 0 by Jigar Vassantlal who has presence of mind to see that he was outside his crease after missing a shot. But with brilliant support from Kiran, Nikhil and Dinesh and good fielding and with Ramji's 6/22, Friends United managed to fold Youth Wing for 40 runs in only 14 over to win the game by 148 runs.
